Main Station

Located right on 156th street, Main Station provides adequate space for storage, day to day activities, training and an area for career and volunteer staff. It contains a large kitchen, day room and meeting room along with an exercise facility and bedrooms located on the upper level. Main Station also holds a large beam from the World trade center attacks located in the tribute hall.

This station was designed to meet the needs of the ever so changing and growing community. Main Station is staffed by career and volunteer personnel 24/7, 365 days a year. For general inquiries/questions, please call the station or contact us here.

Exterior of Rescue Pumper 631

Engine 631

Engine 631 Is a 2019 Pierce Enforcer pumper. 631 carries 750 gallons of water with a 2,000 gal/per minute pump. It is the department’s primary engine that responds to all structure fires, fire alarms, vehicle accidents and other specialized incidents. 631 is outfitted with extrication and vehicle stabilization tools, seats six personnel and often responds to EMS incidents to assist the Medic crew.

Rescue 610

Medic 610

Medic 610 is a 2013 Lifeline/International ambulance. The unit is a fully equipped advanced life support ambulance with a set of extrication tools for motor vehicle collisions. 610 currently serves as the department’s reserve ambulance, which is a back up to the front-line response units.

Medic 611

Medic 611

Medic 611 is a 2021 Ford F550/Wheeled Coach 4×4 ambulance. The unit is a fully equipped advanced life support ambulance with a set of battery-powered extrication tools for motor vehicle collisions. 611 serves as a one of the department’s front-line ambulances.

Medic 612 is also a 2021 Ford F550/Wheeled Coach 4×4 ambulance. The unit is a fully equipped advanced life support ambulance with a set of battery-powered extrication tools for motor vehicle collisions. 611 serves as a one of the department’s front-line ambulances.

Pumper Tender 640

Engine Tanker 640

Engine/Tanker 640 is a 2019 Pierce Enforcer combination pumper/tanker. 640 carries 2,500 gallons of water with a 1,500 gal/per minute pump. 640 primarily responds to rural areas and is used to supply water to the primary fire engine.

Tower/Ladder 650

Tower/Ladder 650 is a 2021 Pierce Enforcer 100 ft. mid-mount quint. 650 carries 300 gallons of water with a 2,000 gal/per minute pump. It carries a full complement of ground ladders, overhaul equipment, ventilation equipment and tools for specialized forcible entry. The tower basket is equipped with a pre-piped water way capable of delivering 1000 gallons per minute. The basket also is equipped with brackets to allow a Stokes Basket (emergency stretcher) to be attached.

Rescue 660

Rescue 660

Rescue 660 is a 2002 Freightliner/EONE rescue. 660 carries a cascade system that is used to fill air bottles on a fire scene and it also carries miscellaneous technical rescue gear for rope rescue and grain bin entrapments. It is also equipped with a purple-K dry chemical extinguishing system as well as an elevated light tower for night operations. The apparatus is on loan from the Nebraska Forest Service through the Federal Excess Personal Property program.

Brush Wagon 620

Brush Wagon 620 is a 2020 Ford F550/Danko 4×4 brush truck. 620 carries 300 gallons of water with a 150 gal/per minute pump.  620 is primarily used for any grass or wildland fires as well as any off-road incidents. It is equipped with various wildland firefighting tools and has the capability of seating three personnel.

Chief 601

Chief 601

Chief 601 is a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe 4×4 that is used as a staff car and a command post for the department’s Fire Chief. The car has a rear command work station and carries personal protective equipment for the fire chief.

Assistant Chief 602

Assistant Chief 602

Chief 602 is a 2015 Ford Interceptor that is used as a staff car for the department’s career Assistant Fire Chief. The car is equipped with EMS supplies and also carries personal protective equipment for the Assistant Chief.
